High magic also known as True magic is a form of extended spell casting.
It involves casting of very powerful spells that are not tethered (see rules of Witchcraft) in any way.
It has rituals that compel forces from the four winds to act on behalf of the spiritualist.
Very few people engage in or practice high magic. At the best of times it is mainly for the self empowerment of the spell casters.
The practitioner gets sustenance from high magic rituals.
The rituals are not used by people to cast personal spells. A practitioner engages in high magic rituals to revitalize him or herself.
Learning High Magic
Learning high magic is indirectly purposeful for a common person.
This is because one will not apply it for any spiritual use.
Mustering the universal forces of the winds is beyond the scope of a non-entrenched person magically.
If at all one desires to traverse the bounds of known traditions and engage in high magic aspects, one should be ready to sacrifice most of his time and life to this end.
High magic consumes time and the spirit. Using it for ordinary rituals and spells bites on one’s spirit.
This is why it is always in the confines of the ritualist, to sacrifice to and revitalize himself from.
The Purpose Of High Magic
We have seen that high magic is mainly a recluse of the practitioner.
An ordinary spell user has no viable application for high magic rituals.
Its role is to increase on the power of the practitioner. This makes him able to engage more stronger forces and perform the rituals that re requested of him.
As a revitalize for spell casters, high magic feeds on the casting of the spell themselves and the rituals performed.
To acquire this, we do a lot of sacrificing in high magic.
What Does High Magic Require
The first thing is sacrifice.
When Baba Musa blows the furnace for a high magic ritual, he requires a lot of sacrifice in blood.
It requires time, dedication, and concentration.
Most rituals of rebuilding in high magic are performed in high places, the mountains, and in the islands.
At these points, a ritualist summons and interacts with forces without interruption days on.
These rituals are for self discovery and self examination of the priest.
With a great grasp of the forces after days of sanctification, the priest returns with more power to cast effective and potent spells.
Working With The High Priest
The high priest controls the magic within every ritual that is performed.

The priest inducts you in the vagaries of spell casting and its toll.
He initiates the energy that you want to act on your behalf. Understanding the problem you have presented is the work of the practitioner.
When the rituals are performed and the spells is ready, the high priest casts it with you.
It’s his role to see that all antecedents and following procedures on the spell are done. This is the fore-and-aft rituals.
Rituals At The Shrine
We undertake high magic rituals in our mountain shrines.
They take a minimum of seven days from which the priest emerges invigorated and ready for spell work.
We make journeys to the mountains before dawn breaks and on full moon nights.
There is holding of vigils and constant soul search prayers.
Supplication to the forces to reinvigorate the priest with enough power to endure more spell work.
At the end of a fortnight or in some instances the seven days, the priest returns.
His return marks the resumption of his duties at the altar.
This is when all believers present their problems and the priest prepares the energized spells.
Spells And Rituals In High Chambers
In the spells and ritual shrine, the priest with the high sight, now prepares rituals for those who need them.
A spell casting shrine is an enclave of low energy chambers, chambers for sacrifice, chambers for powering, chambers for chants, and the high chambers for manifestation.
If a ritual does not bring fulfillment in the other chambers, it finds its way up to the last chamber in which high magic and the high priest dwell.
Sacrificing In High Magic
We sacrifice from the mountains during the Baba’s retreat into revitalization. Additionally, Baba can still sacrifice before his journey, in the high chamber.
We do not sacrifice from the sacrificial chamber of the lower spells and rituals.
Among the many things sacrificed in high magic, blood-letting is very important.
The blood creates a strong connection and bond between the priest and the forces.
A well managed sacrifice appeases the forces and opens their gratitude to flow towards the priest and his rituals.
In this way the priest is able to cast very strong spells for anyone who seeks his assistance.
Sacrifices are a very important part of a ritual and a spell because they do the following;
They replace the benevolence of the deities
A show of willingness to accept the transmutation of energy into one’s life
A symbol of a spell caster’s selflessness
It is a conduit through which high magic passes
An exchange for the spell caster’s spirit
A direct connection to the spirits and a beacon of beckoning for their mediation.
High Magic Practices In Different Traditions
Will you come across high magic in our magical traditions? Yes.
Every tradition whether Wicca or Voodoo or Black magic, there is a time for retreat for spiritual recharge.
There is a time a priest has to set aside to go and strengthen himself for further rituals.
If a practitioner goes on fo a while without recharging, his or her spells and rituals will lose potency.
The rituals will be barren and the spells he casts won’t work.
It is important to know when the priest needs to seek for energy, otherwise he may end up losing it to the rituals he seeks to gain control over.
